Que le regard se pose comme un jet de lumière sur un objet tangible ou qu'il bascule vers l'intérieur - dans la Lune dit-on - une foule s'active en nous, des voix s'élèvent: le tumulte des perceptions.

Malgré l'histoire qui nous a construit, ce regard est unique parce que coloré de notre tâche essentielle.

La peinture m'a choisi et j'ai accepté de la laisser entrer. Après m'avoir fait traverser des turbulences, maintenant elle m'inspire en rêves. Je l'écoute. Tous les aspects du psychisme se mobilisent pour une gestuelle silencieuse.

Je me sers de la gravité pour créer une dynamique des fluides. Alors, par superpositions successives l'œuvre devient… J'accompagne son devenir jusqu'à l'étincelle qui m'indique qu'elle est arrivée.

Je puise dans l'informe et je ramène à la surface parfois quelques grâces, parfois des formes assez fortes pour être présentées à la lumière du monde.

Parce que l'Âme est un concept abstrait, je choisis l'abstraction.

Parce que la sensibilité est malmenée, je choisis le sensible.

Parce que chaque geste chargé d'intentions vibre jusqu'aux confins du vide quantique, je choisis d'induire et d'évoquer.

I suppose that we all have things to bring out from within. Our intimate realm can take on the proportions of an infinite universe. And the finite world is judged by the eyes.

Whether we cast a look on a tangible object, like a beam of light, or turn our sight inward – daydreaming, so to speak – a crowd stirs and voices are calling from within: perceptions are churning.

Regardless of the individual path we have followed over time, this view is unique because it is tinted with each our own vital roles.

Painting chose me, and I chose to let it fill me. And after taking me through turbulent times, it now flows and speaks through my dreams. I listen closely. Mind over matter: all aspects of the psyche are harnessed for a silent gestural expression.

I use gravity to tease motion out of my canvass through fluid dynamics. Repeated overlays beget the creation. I walk it along its path until we reach the beacon of completeness.

I delve into the reaches of the abstract and give shape indiscriminately to subtleties and bold statements sometimes deserving of the eyes of the world.

Because the Soul is an abstract concept, I choose abstraction.

Because sensitivity is mistreated, I choose respect.

Because each and every motivated action

Resounds to the depths of the quantic void,

I choose to induce and recall.
